1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:
Dennis Fassbaender
DF Videoproduktion
Bundesstraße 4
52159 Roetgen
Germany
Email: st****@****************on.de
2. General information
This privacy policy explains which personal data may be processed when you visit blenderphysics.org or contact BlenderPhysics, why that processing takes place, and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal data is processed only where a legal basis applies.
3. Website hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. That host was identified from the server response of blenderphysics.org on 22 October 2026.
When you access the website, technical connection information is processed to deliver the requested content and to maintain the availability, security, and stability of the website. Depending on the server configuration, this information may include:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- requested page or file
- referrer information
- browser and operating system information
- technical request information
Processing necessary to deliver the website and protect its operation is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting the legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website.
The exact period for which the host keeps these logs depends on the hosting product. That period was not separately confirmed for this notice. Logs are kept only as needed to deliver and secure the site, unless a longer statutory duty applies.
4. Contact by email
If you write to an address published on this website, the message is composed in your own mail app. We process the information in that message once it reaches the mailbox, including your email address, any name you provide, and the content of your inquiry.
This information is used to respond and to handle any necessary follow-up.
Where the message is a step toward a contract, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other inquiries, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting the legitimate interest in answering.
Correspondence is kept only as long as the reply and any follow-up need it, unless a legal retention duty requires longer storage.
Writing is voluntary. Without a working address or enough detail, an answer may not be possible.
5. Spam check (CleanTalk)
The public site uses the plugin CleanTalk Anti-Spam. On 22 October 2026 it loaded a bot-check script from fd.cleantalk.org. The plugin setting shown on the page was “no cookies”, and the optional tracking pixel was switched off. A normal request for the homepage did not set a cookie.
The check is there to tell ordinary visits from automated abuse. Technical connection data can be sent to CleanTalk for that purpose. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
CleanTalk’s own servers may sit outside the European Economic Area. This notice does not claim that every such transfer stays inside the EEA. CleanTalk describes its processing at cleantalk.org.
6. Cookies and local storage
A check of the public homepage on 22 October 2026 found no Set-Cookie header. Fonts are files on this same server. There is no advertising cookie, no IONOS WebAnalytics script, no Google Fonts, no embedded video, and no social-media plugin.
The public pages are therefore offered without a consent banner. Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) requires consent when information is stored on or read from your device beyond what the service strictly needs. That was not found on a normal visit.
If a later feature stores something on the device, this section will be updated before that feature is used.
7. External links
This website may link to other sites, including material about Blender and simulation. The footer also links to the BlenderPhysics profiles on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Those profiles are ordinary links. This website does not embed their players, timelines, or plugins, and it does not load their scripts on its own pages.
When you follow such a link, that site’s own privacy practices apply.
The only third-party script identified on the public pages is the CleanTalk bot check described above.
8. Recipients
IONOS processes data as the host. Email you send is received in the published mailbox; the mailbox provider processes it in order to deliver the message. CleanTalk can process the technical data of the bot check.
A transfer outside the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out for the CleanTalk check. No other international transfer was identified. This notice does not claim that no data ever leaves the EEA.
9. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you can:
- request access under Article 15 GDPR
- request rectification under Article 16 GDPR
- request erasure under Article 17 GDPR
- request restriction under Article 18 GDPR
- request data portability under Article 20 GDPR
- object to certain processing under Article 21 GDPR
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future. That does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example:
Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW)
Kavalleriestraße 2–4
40213 Düsseldorf
Germany
https://www.ldi.nrw.de/
To exercise these rights, use the contact details in section 1.
10. Updates
This privacy policy is updated when the website, the services it uses, or the legal requirements change. The current version is this page.
